Anunțul vine la puțin timp după ce senatorul Ninel Peia (PACE) a solicitat convocarea de urgență a Birourilor Permanente Reunite ale Parlamentului, ca urmare a informațiilor cu privire la întrevederea neoficială dintre Bolojan și președinta CCR. Parlamentarul susține că un astfel de dialog ferit de ochii publicului ridică semne grave de întrebare asupra independenței instituțiilor din statul de drept.
