On the 12th anniversary of the UOC Primate's enthronement, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York noted his faithfulness to the Truth of Christ.
On August 17, 2026, the First Hierarch of the ROCOR, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York. congratulated His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry on the 12th anniversary of his enthronement, reports the UOC Information and Educational Department.
His Grace Nicholas sent his congratulations on behalf of the Bishops' Synod, the clergy, monastics, and all the faithful of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. In his message, he noted the primatial feat of His Beatitude Onuphrius, his courageous stand for the purity of Orthodoxy, and his unwavering faithfulness to the Truth of Christ, which, in the words of the hierarch, serve as a lofty example for the entire Orthodox world.
