Knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us.

“Whatever days the Lord places before us, we receive them from His loving hand. In sickness and in health, in moments of uncertainty and in moments of consolation, Jesus Christ remains our hope, our strength, our healing, and our life.

“For the grace of God has appeared for the salvation of all men, training us to renounce irreligion and worldly passions, and to live sober, upright, and godly lives in this world, awaiting our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
