“As a man, I know that a man cannot live for long without sex and remain healthy. It harms his body. And a person cannot do anything that harms his body, because the Lord gave him that body. Roughly speaking, he has it on lease. And if the Lord made the body in such a way that it needs sex, then satisfying that need is normal

“It is not a sin. Our Orthodox Church never actually forbids people from doing anything. It does not forbid – it simply very strongly recommends abstaining.
